2026 Spring Semester Open

AI System Control

"AI Connecting Social·Natural·Digital Ecosystems, Controlling a Sustainable Future"

Adding AI to social welfare and smart farms.

Setting goals based on data and optimizing systems

Training convergence experts who create practical solutions for people (Welfare) and nature (Nature)

Major Overview

Why 'AI System Control'?

In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, beyond simple digital transformation (DX), AI Transformation (AX) is now demanded. AI System Control is the technology that analyzes complex social problems and natural environments based on data, and coordinates and improves them in ways that benefit everyone.

This convergence major, led by the Department of Social Welfare in collaboration with Environmental Horticulture, Equine Studies, and other disciplines, trains practice-oriented AI talent in the fields of 'Intelligent Welfare' and 'AgTech (Agricultural Technology)'.

What Makes Our Major Special

  • Expanding Convergence: Consilient education spanning humanities/social science (welfare) + natural science (horticulture/ecology) + engineering (AI)
  • Community-Centered: Living lab projects addressing Jeju regional issues (aging population, environment, primary industries)
  • Student-Friendly: Step-by-step AI education model accessible even to non-majors
