Jeju-Style Innovative Talent Model at 2025 EXPO
Participated as part of the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province RISE project, receiving great response by showcasing Jeju-style innovative talent training models such as AI Convergence Major and Learncation.
Exhibition Overview
Cheju Halla University (President Kim Sung-hoon) RISE Business Group participated in the '2025 Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation EXPO' held at Daegu EXCO from October 29 to 31, receiving attention for showcasing Jeju-style innovative talent training models such as AI Convergence Major and Learncation. This EXPO was a networking event co-hosted by the Ministry of Education, MOTIE, and MSIT, aimed at spreading innovation in talent training and regional innovation based on industry-academia cooperation.
Jeju-Style Innovative Education Model
Under the theme "Learn in Jeju, Communicate with the World," Cheju Halla University introduced a region-based global education innovation model.
AI Convergence Major
A convergence curriculum reflecting industrial demand, fostering practical AI talents through collaboration with local companies and institutions.
Learncation
Students earn credits in Jeju and experience long-term stay learning linked with local industry and cultural resources through 'Learncation Day'. It drew attention as a trans-regional model expanding beyond Jeju.
Field-Tailored Capstone Design Prototypes
We exhibited 3 types of prototypes from the Capstone Design education program operated through the 'Regional Innovation System & Education(RISE)' project, sharing field-oriented educational achievements.
