A meaningful event was held to share outstanding student achievements from Capstone Design courses and explore possibilities for industry collaboration.
As the first event commemorating the opening of 'Jeju Island Worklab Hamdeok', space industry leaders including AWS, Naraspace, and STEPI gathered to explore concrete strategies for Jeju to leap forward as an aerospace data innovation cluster and ways to integrate humanities and tourism.
To Hamdeok beach instead of the classroom... An immersive project introducing Stanford d.school methodology. Like astronauts exploring an alien planet, students roamed the streets of Hamdeok, Jeju, creating messages to send to space using AI.
Industry-Academia-Government joint workshop on the 28th... 'Introducing practical education that goes beyond theory to work with real data'. Joining hands with Jeju's aerospace companies, we have begun full-scale training of 'practical aerospace talents' who solve regional problems using actual satellite data.

The 「STAI-AWS 2025 Learncation Program」, operated by Cheju Halla University RISE Project for 7 days, brought together over 30 students from KAIST, Yonsei University, and Cheju Halla University under the theme 'AI for Climate Action'. Through hackathons and workshops directly organized by AWS, and special lectures by Vanderbilt University professors, participants learned AI technologies for climate crisis response through hands-on practice.
